Are you looking for an easy and fun Christmas gift idea? Look no further.
These adorable candy holders are made with a Cricut machine, and I'm excited fo you to check them out :)
My collection includes Santa, Penguin, Reindeer, Gingerbread man and an Ornament.
These SVG files are perfect for a fun project for kids, or as a gift for your collegues.
1. Supplies you'll need:
- Cricut (or any kind of) cutting machine
- Cardstock (I recommend 65-80lb), quantity and colors depends on the design
- Vinyl (I use oracal 641) quantity and colors depends on the design
- Hot glue
- Candy/Chocolate of your choice (Design sized for Lindor chocolate, but easily can be resized e.g. in Design Space)
2. How to make your own candy holder with Cricut:
Reindeer
You need to cut the base out of cardstock. For the the ears, cheeks, eyes and antlers i used adhesive foil. Stick the details to the base and fold it according to the recommendation below. Voila you have a candy holder. You only need to put your chocolate inside and glue it together!
Santa
You need to cut the base out of cardstock. For the the mouth, cheeks, eyes and face i used adhesive foil. Stick the details to the base and fold it according to the recommendation below. You only need to put your chocolate inside and glue it together!
Penguin
Just like with the first two design, base was cut out of cardstock, Details from adhesive foil. Stick the details to the base and fold it according to the recommendation below. You only need to put your chocolate inside and glue it together!
Gingerbread man
This is a bit trickier than the others, you need to be careful with the 'outline' I recommend the reverse weeding method for the adhesive foil to stay in place. Basically you stick your transfer tape to the design and weed the unwanted parts from that.
Ornament
This is the easiest and fastest in my opinion and my favorit! :)
You can get the desingns in my ETSY shop!
Which one is your favourite?
