Hey, crafty friends! 🎄 Every year I tell myself I’ll start my Christmas crafting early, and every year December sneaks up on me. This year, let’s do it differently! Making a few candy holders now means you’ll have treats ready for the classroom party, gifts for neighbours and coworkers, and cute little extras for the tree, all without the last-minute scramble.
Here are five of my favourite Christmas candy holders to get you started, from a classic reindeer to a pair of cheeky elves.
1. Rudolf Reindeer

2. Jamie and Jack Gingerbread

3. Santa Claus

4. Elf Couple

5. Sally and Simon Snowman

A Simple Plan: One Holder Per Week
If the idea of making all five at once feels like a lot, try spreading it out:
1. Pick the one you’re most excited about and make it first. A single finished holder is great motivation.
2. Add one new design each week, and batch-cut pieces for the ones you’ll need in bigger numbers (like classroom treats).
3. Save your quick, small-size makes for the busy weeks right before Christmas.
4. Keep the finished holders somewhere safe, then fill them with candy close to gifting time so everything stays fresh.
5. Buy your domes ahead of time. None of these listings include the dome or ornament, and you’ll want to have the right size (6 cm or 8 cm) on hand before assembly.
Personal and commercial use is included, so you can sell the physical holders you make. Please just don’t resell or share the digital files.
Whichever one you pick first, I hope these make your holiday season a little sweeter and a lot less stressful. You can find all five in my Etsy shop, along with plenty more Christmas candy holders and decoration ideas.
If you make any of them, I’d love to see! Tag me or send me a photo. Nothing makes my day more than seeing my designs come to life in your craft room.
Happy crafting!
